Dear UWE, what a beautiful book! I will read it with interest. Although your pictures are better than mine, I tried to capture the same beautiful experiences is the Ngorogoro and Serengeti. This is earth at its finest. Thank you for sharing your book with us.

If you wanted to get closer to the animals - and use a 24-70mm lense - then go to Mana pools in Zimbabwe. In one morning I walked through a herd of elephants, a troop of baboons, past warthogs and eland. As you are on foot with no car in site you bushcraft must be good! better than the average American tourist!

Ich habe Ihr wunderbares Buch "Wildlife-Fotografie" gelesen und schon viele Tipps daraus entnehmen können. Ich liebe die Masai Mara und organisiere jedes Jahr dahin eine kleine Gruppensafari für
Raubkatzenfans, wie ich es bin. Die Katzen zu fotografieren, ist eine große Herausforderung. Ich bin mit meiner Nikon D90 noch Anfänger und muß über die Einstellun gen noch viel lernen! Das 2.

Your images are breath-taking! I have been "introduced" to your work through the Bush Warriors. My photo of a mountain gorilla was chosen as photo of the week and I would really love to win a copy of your book! freut mich, dass Du so eine erfolgreiche Safari hattest! Auch ist es gut zu hören, dass die afrikanischen Wildhunde es nun wieder bis in die Serengeti geschafft
haben. In 2006 hatten wir in der Ngorongoro Conserv. Area bereits ein Pack von 17 Hunden gefunden. Diese konnten wir tagelang bei ihrer Jagt auf Gnus und deren gerade frisch geborenen Jungen
beobachten. Wir hatten dies damals einer Mitarbeiterin der Zoologischen Gesellschaft Frankfurt in der Serengeti berichtet. Die wusste damals noch nichts von diesem Pack. Ein Kunde hat diese auch
in 2007/2008 in der gleichen Gegend gesehen. Wahrscheinlich hat jetzt ein Teil oder der gesamte Pack die Serengeti erreicht!

Ganz ehrlich, ich muss gestehen, dass ich mir bei meinen Afrikareisen bislang mehr Gedanken darüber gemacht habe, wie der Wein am Kap wächst und schmeckt; die Löwen im Löwenpark Viewpoint - nahe
dem Addo Elefanten Nationalpark - habe ich aus respektvoller Entfernung betrachtet. Uwe Skrzypczak dokumentiert mit seinen Bildern und mit überzeugenden Worten in wissenschaftlich sachlicher Art
und Weise Themen, die einem in gleicher Weise intellektuell als auch emotionell ansprechen. Ich werde wohl das nächste Mal die afrikanische Welt aus einem mir neuen Blickwinkel betrachten
können.
Skrzypczak hat eine zeitgemäße Sprache gefunden, diese schwerwiegenden Themen eindringlich zu transportieren.

If you wanted to get closer to the animals - and use a 24-70mm lense - then go to Mana pools in Zimbabwe. In one morning I walked through a herd of elephants, a troop of baboons, past warthogs and eland. As you are on foot with no car in site you bushcraft must be good! better than the average American tourist!

Ich habe Ihr wunderbares Buch "Wildlife-Fotografie" gelesen und schon viele Tipps daraus entnehmen können. Ich liebe die Masai Mara und organisiere jedes Jahr dahin eine kleine Gruppensafari für
Raubkatzenfans, wie ich es bin. Die Katzen zu fotografieren, ist eine große Herausforderung. Ich bin mit meiner Nikon D90 noch Anfänger und muß über die Einstellun gen noch viel lernen! Das 2.
Buch, das Sie zu diesem Thema herausgegeben haben, ist das dafür noch besser geeignet?

Your images are breath-taking! I have been "introduced" to your work through the Bush Warriors. My photo of a mountain gorilla was chosen as photo of the week and I would really love to win a copy of your book! I was in the Serengeti in 2009 and wasn't fortunate enough to see the wild dogs but I am heading back to "my special place" at the end of March 2011 and hope that I am will be fortunate enough to see them!

freut mich, dass Du so eine erfolgreiche Safari hattest! Auch ist es gut zu hören, dass die afrikanischen Wildhunde es nun wieder bis in die Serengeti geschafft
haben. In 2006 hatten wir in der Ngorongoro Conserv. Area bereits ein Pack von 17 Hunden gefunden. Diese konnten wir tagelang bei ihrer Jagt auf Gnus und deren gerade frisch geborenen Jungen
beobachten. Wir hatten dies damals einer Mitarbeiterin der Zoologischen Gesellschaft Frankfurt in der Serengeti berichtet. Die wusste damals noch nichts von diesem Pack. Ein Kunde hat diese auch
in 2007/2008 in der gleichen Gegend gesehen. Wahrscheinlich hat jetzt ein Teil oder der gesamte Pack die Serengeti erreicht!

Für das Problem "40 kg Fotoausrüstung transpotieren" hast Du in Deinem Wildlife-Fotobuch doch die Lösung vorgegeben - einen Partner fürs Schleppen mitnehmen - warum hast Du Daniela zu Hause gelassen???? Ganz ehrlich, ich muss gestehen, dass ich mir bei meinen Afrikareisen bislang mehr Gedanken darüber gemacht habe, wie der Wein am Kap wächst und schmeckt; die Löwen im Löwenpark Viewpoint - nahe
dem Addo Elefanten Nationalpark - habe ich aus respektvoller Entfernung betrachtet. Uwe Skrzypczak dokumentiert mit seinen Bildern und mit überzeugenden Worten in wissenschaftlich sachlicher Art
und Weise Themen, die einem in gleicher Weise intellektuell als auch emotionell ansprechen. Ich werde wohl das nächste Mal die afrikanische Welt aus einem mir neuen Blickwinkel betrachten
können.
Skrzypczak hat eine zeitgemäße Sprache gefunden, diese schwerwiegenden Themen eindringlich zu transportieren.

Hallo Uwe, seit längerer Zeit verfolge ich Deine Arbeit,und wie sehr Dir die Serengeti am Herzen liegt.
Es ist schön zu sehen wie sehr sich ein Mensch für den Erhalt dieser Traumhaft schönen Region einsetzt.
Wir haben von einer Freundin (Andrea) das Buch Serengeti aus Feuer und Asche geboren geschenkt bekommen, und es ist ein Genuss dort hinein zu schauen, man fühlt sich als wäre man in der wunderschönen Serengeti!Das Buch Wildlif Fotografie haben wir auch, und ich schaue dort immer wieder hinein, es macht einfach nur spaß ! Weiter viel Erfolg bei Deinen Projekten.

Tolle Seite mit ganz fantastischen Fotos, die nicht nur schön sind, sondern auch den Respekt vor den Tieren zeigen !! Klasse finde ich auch die Serengeti-Infos, damit man die Besonderheit dieses Ökosystems kennenlernt.
Bis "mein" Buch kommt, werde ich bestimmt noch oft hier schauen und lesen.
