Dear Friends and Visitors

should like to have your opinion regarding my new book project. Photos and layout is now complete. This will be the first book of a series of three i plan to produce about the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, and covers the calving period in the south-east Serengeti, at the start of the annual great migration.

Uwe, I just today joined the Friends of Kenya Wildlife group on facebook and just now have been pouring through your photos with tears streaming down my face. As the fate of the Serengeti and all our precious wild animals hangs in the balance, you have captured the essence of these creatures that will make people take notice. The Cheetah Alliance isn't about raising money, it's about awareness and making humans (particularly children) aware of what these animals are all about and the danger that humankind presents to their survival. I congratulate you! You are a master of Wild.

Hello Uwe,

I have been visiting (once again) you website and blog. I could read that you were going to do an other book and you wanted our opinion. So of course, I download your book project and........................................... it's really fantastic. The book will be in english and in german, not in french ? It's a shame for me and probably for all french people. But, anyway, I can speak and read a little bit english :-) The concept is very good, the pictures so beautiful as usual, the story very interesting. If I can permit, there will be maybe a little thing which could disturb me. It's about few of the big pictures which take two pages, it will cut the face of animals because of the middle of the book and for me, I think that is a shame. But maybe I'm wrong ? I don't know if you understand what I mean ? The pages 45/46, 73/74, 89/90, 101/102, 129/130, 163/164, 175/176, 179/180, 189/190, 193/194, 209/210, 223/224, 227/228 and 229/230. It's difficult to explain in english. I don't know if you speak french or maybe someone next to you can translate what I try to explain to you.
" Il y aurait peut être une petite chose qui me dérangerait. Il s'agit de quelques grandes photos qui se trouvent sur 2 pages à la fois comme les pages 45/46, 73/74, 89/90, 101/102, 129/130, 163/164, 175/176, 179/180, 189/190, 193/194, 209/210, 223/224, 227/228 and 229/230. La coupure du milieu du livre risque de couper les visages des animaux et je trouve ça dommage car les photos sont vraiment magnifiques. Mais peut être que je me trompe ?
